FOR DONORS

What types of donations do you accept?

We accept cash donations, as well as new or gently used books and school/office supplies (pencils, glue, scissors, etc.)

Where can I drop off donations?

Teachers’ Supply Closet is located at 2731 Gordon Street, North Charleston, SC 29401. Please call 843-529-4931 or 843-714-0234 for directions, if needed.

 

Do you pick up donations?

At this time, we do not have the resources to pick up donations. If you feel there is a special circumstance, please call our office at 843-714-0234.

FOR TEACHERS

When may I place an  order?

Online orders are placed twice per year, once in the fall and once in the winter. Teachers in eligible schools will be notified of the next booking times by their Teacher Liaisons.

Why isn’t my school eligible?

At this time, we are only able to serve 54 schools in the listed counties who have at least 75% of students qualifying for free or reduced meals. We hope to be able to expand our services in the future.

What if I need to cancel my curbside pickup?

Due to supply and demand for online orders, it is imperative that if you have to cancel your scheduled curbside pickup, you notify Teachers’ Supply Closet as soon as possible. You may have someone else pick up your order as long as they have a copy or picture of your school ID badge. Failure to comply with this request will result in loss of shopping privileges the next year.
