Full-time teachers who teach at eligible schools may place an online order.
What can I get?
The Teachers’ Supply Closet is stocked with basic school supplies such as pencils, pens, paper, notebooks, rulers, glue sticks, scissors, markers, copy paper, desk accessories, novelty items, tape, binders, pocket folders, and file folders. Most items in the stores are new.
When may I place an online order?
Teachers may place an online order once per semester each school year. Before placing an order, a date and time for curbside pickup must be scheduled. A current school photo ID is required to pick up an order.
Where does curbside pickup take place?
We are located at 2731 Gordon Street, North Charleston, SC 29401. The facility used to be Garrett Academy. It is now Allegro Charter School of Music. Follow Leeds Ave. until it becomes Martha Dr. Cross over the railroad tracks and take the first left onto Peacock Ave. Once you turn onto Peacock Ave., take the first left into the faculty parking lot. Look for our sign at the entrance to the lot. Go all the way to the back and through the gate. We are located at garage door number 2.
Write a thank you note and have their students write thank you notes. Mail to 1643 B Savannah Highway, Box #349, Charleston, SC 29407. Every donor receives a Teachers’ Supply Closet thank you letter with a child’s note attached. These notes help keep the store shelves stocked with supplies.
Complete and return a survey via our website or mail a hardcopy to 1643 B Savannah Highway, Box #349, Charleston, SC 29407.
Only use supplies for the students in their classrooms. Each shopper will complete and sign a check-out form indicating that all items are for school use only.

Failure to comply with this request will result in loss of shopping privileges the next year.
COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES
While participating in events held or sponsored by Teachers' Supply Closet ("TSC"), consistent with CDC guidelines, participants are encouraged to practice hand hygiene, “social distancing” and wear face coverings to reduce the risks of exposure to COVID-19. Because COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is spread mainly from person-to-person contact, TSC has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. However, TSC cannot guarantee that its participants, volunteers, partners, or others in attendance will not become infected with COVID-19.
For your safety, we ask that all teachers remain in their vehicles when picking up supplies. Teachers' Supply Closet volunteers will load your vehicle so that no physical contact is needed. All volunteers and staff are required to (1) sign a one-time safety acknowledgment waiver, (2) complete a temperature check each day, and (3) wear a mask in the building and during service hours.
