Lynette V. Duggins,

Executive Director

 

Lynette Verdell Duggins attended Henry P. Archer and Sanders-Clyde Elementary Schools, Rivers High School, Charles A. Brown High School, SC State College where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (1983), and Webster University where she earned her Master of Arts in Human Resources Development (1990).


Lynette has been a servant leader, educator, and community advocate for over 35 years as she has been the face of helping people. Her current charge since September 2015 is to manage Teachers’ Supply Closet as its Executive Director. Her love and passion for her job came directly from being a Title 1 student herself and being nurtured by a single mother who had three additional children.

Professional Affiliations: Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce Member: 2018 Class for Leadership Discovery and Leadership Charleston Class of 2021; Kiwanis Club of Charleston: President (2021-2022), Kids In Need Foundation Member and Charleston (SC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated Member.


A lifelong Charleston resident, Lynette V. Duggins, has grown the organization’s programs, budget, and board of directors within her six years. She is an active member of the community and has actively built partnerships that have resulted in millions of dollars of free supplies. Ms. Duggins brings over 20 years of experience as a nonprofit administrator.
